Qualifications for Home Healthcare
At your request, or under the physician's order, the agency RN will conduct an initial evaluation, free of charge, to determine your qualification for services. If you meet these established criteria, you will qualify for services under Medicare/Medicaid:
If you are 65 or older, or have been entitled to disability benefits for 24 consecutive months.
If you are confined to your home and cannot leave without aid of special equipment or the assistance of another person (essentialy homebound).
If you are under a physician's care and your physician has certified your need for home healthcare services.
